Erin Farrell is a partner in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, practising in the firm’s Advocacy Department. She focuses on environmental and commercial litigation, including class actions, product and professional liability, and municipal liability. Erin represents professionals in both civil and administrative matters and has defended Canadian and international clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device and manufacturing sectors. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario as well as various regulatory bodies and tribunals. Prior to practising law, Erin conducted genetics research in Germany and at a major pharmaceutical company in California. She holds a JD, a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Biochemistry (Nutrition), and a Master of Science in Biotechnology.
