Fahad Siddiqui acts in urgent and complex commercial and securities litigation. He is a member of our market-leading special situations team and has served as lead counsel in trials, dispositive motions, arbitrations and appeals. Clients rely on Fahad to guide them through their most challenging issues. He has successfully brought and defended cases involving contested M&A transactions, shareholder claims, proxy contests, contract disputes and regulatory challenges and has acted for some of North America's most significant companies and industry associations. Fahad previously served as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and the High Court of Delhi and practised with an international firm based in New York City. Fahad maintains an active pro bono practice. He has served on the boards of and represented public interest organizations, including the Innocence Network, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers and the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario. Fahad is fluent in French and conversant in Hindi, Urdu, and Arabic.
