Greg Peterson is a partner and head of Gowling WLG’s Corporate Finance, M&A, and Private Equity Group in the firm’s Calgary office. He is also the national co-leader of the firm’s Governance, Activism & Investigations Group. His practice focuses on public and private company matters, particularly mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, plans of arrangements, reorganizations, going-private transactions, private placements, and asset and share purchase & sale agreements. He represents private and public companies at all stages of their development, from IPOs to multi-billion-dollar market capitalizations. Greg has extensive experience in private equity transactions and public financings, including equity, debt, and venture capital financings.
