Heather Michelin practises U.S. and Canadian business immigration law, with a primary focus on U.S. matters. She is Senior Counsel and leads the firm’s U.S. immigration practice. With over 20 years of experience in immigration law, Heather is recognized for her expertise in advising businesses of all sizes on complex cross-border mobility issues, including temporary and permanent immigration, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance. She collaborates with HR professionals, in-house counsel, and executives to design and implement immigration strategies that address workforce needs. Her broad industry experience spans financial services, engineering, manufacturing, telecommunications, consulting, information technology, energy, and other sectors. Heather provides tailored U.S. immigration training to clients and has presented at the firm’s annual immigration conferences as well as at its labour and employment conferences.
