Howard Krupat

Howard leads firm’s Canadian construction practice and focuses on all aspects of construction and infrastructure law across all sectors of the industry.  He has extensive experience as lead counsel on complex construction disputes involving both major infrastructure and private sector projects. He also regularly drafts and negotiates construction and design agreements and provides strategic project and contract administration advice aimed for the early resolution of disputes. Howard’s work spans a wide range of projects, including transit, energy, infrastructure, commercial, data centres, condominium developments and manufacturing. Howard is highly active in industry and professional associations. He serves as Chair of the Allied Professions Committee of the Toronto Construction Association and sits on the Board and Executive. Howard is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and Contributing Editor of the Construction Law Letter. Howard regularly chairs and speaks at a broad range of industry and client seminars and is recognized by his peers as a leading construction lawyer in a wide variety of publications.
