With over ten years of dedicated arbitration counsel work, Hugh has advised a range of Canadian and international companies in disputes governed by the arbitration rules of the ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, ICDR, BCICAC, and DIAC. Co-authored Guide to the PCA Arbitration Rules (Oxford University Press: 2014). Adjunct Professor of international commercial arbitration and of international dispute resolution: sports arbitration at Osgoode Hall Law School. Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Hugh is recognized in Who’s Who Legal as a Global Leader in Arbitration in 2022 and is named one of ten Most Highly Regarded Future Leaders (Partners) in the Americas in 2021.
