Jessica Foster is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Infrastructure and Construction Group. Jessica combines an understanding of project-specific risks with a tailored approach to legal strategy, ensuring clients achieve contractual arrangements that align with their goals and risk tolerance. She has extensive experience negotiating and drafting key agreements, including public-private partnerships (P3), design-build contracts, development agreements and consulting contracts. Additionally, she has created tailored solutions for supplementary conditions to Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) contracts and progressively procured project agreements, helping clients address unique project challenges. Jessica’s experience before joining Gowling WLG informs her pragmatic and commercially minded legal advice. She was a Director in the Transaction Legal department at Infrastructure Ontario where she advised on the procurement and implementation of major public infrastructure projects utilizing both traditional and alternative delivery models across a variety of asset classes. Prior to that, she served as an Assistant Vice President and Legal Consultant at Aon Reed Stenhouse, where she acquired an in-depth understanding of risk transfer methods, including financial lines insurance.
