Jonathan is a Partner in Fasken’s Vancouver office and Co-Leader of the Firm’s National Litigation Management Team. He is a civil litigator practising in the areas of insurance litigation, product liability, transportation law (rail and truck), and general commercial litigation. Jonathan has extensive experience handling insurance, product liability, and commercial carrier claims. He regularly acts for various Canadian and foreign insurers; commercial carriers including a major Canadian railway company; and manufacturers and distributors in several industries including motor vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, industrial equipment, marine, medical devices, processed foods, firearms¸ personal electronics, and other consumer products. Jonathan’s insurance litigation practice involves representing insurance companies and corporations in a wide range of claims including life and disability, accidental death, critical illness, creditor, personal injury, motor vehicle, occupiers liability, and general tort claims. He also has extensive experience handling insurance coverage disputes, subrogation claims, debt collection and enforcement, and general commercial litigation.
