Josh Nisker is a founding partner of Beyond Law LLP, a Toronto-based litigation firm focusing on serious personal injury cases including motor vehicle accident claims, medical malpractice, wrongful death, professional negligence, and insurance disputes. Josh completed his law degree at the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated with distinction and placed in the top 5% of his graduating class. After being called to the Ontario bar in 2007, Josh obtained his Master of Law (LLM) from the University of Cambridge on a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust scholarship. Josh is recognized as a leading lawyer in personal injury and insurance law. He has been named one of Canada’s "Leading Lawyers to Watch" by Lexpert (2021, 2022) and one of the "Best Lawyers in Canada" by Best Lawyers in the areas of personal injury litigation and insurance law (2020–2026). His firm, Beyond Law LLP, has been recognized as one of the "Best Law Firms in Canada" (Best Lawyers) as a Tier 1 law firm, both nationally and regionally (Toronto), in the areas of personal injury litigation and insurance law (2025–2026). Josh has taught courses at University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Lakehead University Faculty of Law. He also provides coaching to other lawyers through the Law Society's Coach Advisor Network.
