Joven Narwal has a proven track record of success in complex, serious and high-profile matters involving white collar crime, securities litigation, professional regulation and multi-jurisdictional enforcement actions. He has substantial experience litigating cases with international dimensions, as well as cases involving sophisticated investigative techniques such as wiretap and other electronic surveillance, undercover operations, whistleblowers and other cooperating witnesses, and evidence gathered in foreign jurisdictions. He is an adjunct professor at the UBC Allard School of Law where he teaches upper-level seminars on White Collar Crime and Criminal Organizations. He is also past-president of the Vancouver Bar Association, a former Crown prosecutor, executive member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association Criminal Subsection, a member of the judicial council of the Tsawwassen First Nation where he adjudicates cases, and an inducted life member of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, a global honorary society whose members are limited to 1% of lawyers practising in each jurisdiction.
