Ms. Rochette is a partner of our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. She practises primarily in the area of professional liability and insurance. She is also an accredited mediator with the ADR Institute of Canada and the Québec Bar. She holds a master's degree from the Université de Sherbrooke in health law and has acquired expertise in managing litigation in this particular sector, particularly in professional liability of health professionals. She also acts in life and disability insurance litigation. As a litigator, Ms. Rochette has acquired extensive experience over the years in representing a wide range of clients, particularly insurers and their insureds, corporate or professional, in actions brought against them in the civil courts. She pleaded long duration trials involving various areas of the law: firefighting matters, defamation actions against professionals, construction litigation involving members of different professions, and more. Ms. Rochette also acts in financial services matters involving the liability of representatives in personal insurance, brokerage firms, and financial institutions.
