Counsel in the Competition and Foreign Investment Group at Goodmans. A trusted advisor to companies in a variety of industries advising on a broad range of competition law and compliance matters, including M&A, marketing and distribution practices, abuse of dominance, investigations, commercial agreements, greenwashing, drip pricing and other deceptive marketing matters. Advises on risk management relating to foreign investment review under the Investment Canada Act, including both economic “net benefit” reviews and national security reviews. Particular experience in navigating reviews of investment by state owned enterprises and negotiation of national security mitigation agreements. The only Canadian lawyer to appear on The Global Competition Review’s 40 Under 40 list in 2024, and as a "Top 40 under 40" by the GCR Foreign Investment Control in 2023. Also recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and as a “National Leader” by Lexology Index Canada.
