Krista Chaytor is a partner in the Construction Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP with a practice that is focused on dispute avoidance and resolution. Krista provides advice to clients during the course of contracts, through contractual dispute resolution processes, in mediations, in adjudications, in arbitrations and at all levels of court. Krista represents all players in the construction industry including owners, general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, project managers and suppliers. Krista is involved in the community, holding board positions with several not-for-profit corporations. Krista also currently sits on the board of the Associate Partner Program of the Ontario General Contractors Association. Krista is a frequent speaker on issues in the construction industry and regularly provides courses through the Construction Institute of Canada. Krista has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for Construction Law and is a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America.
