Kurt focuses on entertainment law and intellectual property, representing industry professionals such as high profile entertainers, film companies, video game companies, influencers, recording artists, songwriters, music producers, record labels, managers, publishing companies and all types of stakeholders and creatives in the music, film and gaming industries. With a rich background as a guest lecturer, keynote speaker, manager, talent buyer, board member and chart-topping musician, Kurt blends legal knowledge with practical experience to provide first class service. Recognized as a leader in entertainment law and intellectual property, Kurt brings two decades of advocacy to the table. Kurt has been deeply involved in the music and film industries for the past two decades. He has volunteered his time as board member for organizations such as SaskMusic, the SaskTel Saskatchewan JazzFest, the Western Canadian Music Awards, BreakOut West, and others. Kurt is currently the President of the Board for the Western Canadian Music Alliance, and is Vice President of the Board for the SaskTel Saskatchewan JazzFest. Kurt also volunteers many pro bono hours to various music-related endeavours throughout Canada.
