Lisa Borsook is one of the most recommended commercial leasing and infrastructure lawyers in the country, widely recognized for her experience and commitment to her clients and the profession. Lisa is the executive partner of WeirFoulds LLP and was its managing partner, 2007–2012. Her practice includes local, regional, national and international clients, governments and government agencies. She has been repeatedly recognized as a leading practitioner by Lexpert and Best Lawyers, and in The Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada. Lisa was inducted into the Hall of Fame for the Women's Executive Network's (WXN) Top 100: Most Powerful Women in Canada in 2016. In 2014 she received the OBA Award of Excellence in Real Estate, in 2016 the LSO’s Laura Legge Award for her contributions to women in the profession, and in 2017, she was honoured by the Canadian Civil Liberties Association for Excellence in Law. Lisa is an ICD-trained Director and sits on several boards. In 2020, she became a founding visionary for the Prosperity Project which aims to mitigate the effects of the pandemic on Canadian women.
