Louis-Pierre Grégoire is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. Certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Construction Law, Louis-Pierre also holds a civil engineering degree. His practice is focused on construction law and civil litigation, with an emphasis on construction matters, commercial disputes, condominium law, insurance, product liability, and professional responsibility. He has provided strategic advice as well as litigation counsel to many stakeholders in the construction industry, including financial institutions, owners, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, entrepreneurs, consultants (engineers and architects), manufacturers, building officials, and home inspectors. Louis-Pierre is a founding member of the Ottawa Young Construction Leaders and a co-author of the publication A Layperson’s Guide to the Construction Act, presently in its second edition.
