He provides coverage and monitoring counsel services on domestic, cross-border class action, and other litigation. Marcus advises underwriters on new and revised wordings, assists corporate/commercial and leasing counsel on insurance-related transaction-based risk management/transfer issues, and co-authors a leading Canadian insurance law text, Annotated Commercial General Liability Policy. Consistently peer nominated in Lexpert® and The Best Lawyers in Canada, he is an elected member of both the American College of Coverage Counsel and Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel.
