Mark Edward Davis is a trial lawyer with significant experience in patent and trademark litigation, including proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations, as well as in breach of confidence/trade secret, anti-counterfeiting design and copyright disputes. Mark is a Certified Specialist (Patents/Trademarks/Copyright) by the Law Society of Ontario and has successfully argued numerous precedent-setting intellectual property cases at both the trial and appellate levels. Mark has repeatedly been recognized for both his patent and trademark litigation skills by publications such as The Best Lawyers in Canada, IAM Patent 1000, IP Stars and World Trademark Review 1000: The World's Leading Trademark Professionals. Mark is the chair of Norton Rose Fulbright’s Toronto intellectual property team. Mark is a prolific writer and speaker on intellectual property law and has taken active leadership roles in many of the leading professional associations for intellectual property law in Canada and the US.
