Michael Foderick is a Partner in the Municipal and Planning Law Group in Toronto and is known for his expertise on land use planning, municipal, expropriation and real estate law, and related approvals. Michael has a reputation for finding straightforward and pragmatic solutions to complex legal and regulatory challenges. He specializes in complex development, land use planning and municipal approvals and agreements, and has spearheaded the approval and implementation of some of the largest public and private sector development and infrastructure projects in Ontario. Michael regularly appears before the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT), municipal City Councils, various levels of court in Ontario, and other regulatory bodies. He has been awarded both the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal and Golden Jubilee Medal for "outstanding service to the community and country". Michael is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and is a part-time lecturer at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU)'s School of Urban and Regional Planning where he currently teaches the Planning Law II course.
