Michael L. Bennett exclusively practises personal injury law, advocating for injured individuals and their families with a blend of compassion and unwavering determination. His practice focuses on insurance coverage, benefit entitlements, and catastrophic impairment disputes, and he has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licencing Appeals Tribunal, and other regulatory bodies. Earlier in his career, Michael represented insurance companies and the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee, giving him valuable insight into how insurers assess and defend claims. This experience now strengthens his advocacy for clients facing complex orthopaedic, brain, and spinal cord injuries, ensuring they receive the treatment and support they need and deserve. Michael joined Thomson Rogers LLP in 2002 and became a partner in 2008.
