On May 1, 2015, Whitecap Resources Inc. (Whitecap) completed the acquisition of Beaumont Energy Inc. (Beaumont) pursuant to a plan of arrangement for approximately $587.5 million.
On April 16, 2015 Kelt Exploration Ltd. (Kelt) completed the acquisition of Artek Exploration Ltd. (Artek) for approximately $320 million in accordance with a previously announced Plan of Arrangement (the Arrangement). Pursuant to the Arrangement, Artek became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kelt and Artek’s name was changed to Kelt Exploration (LNG) Ltd.
