Michelle Isaak is a partner practising in personal wealth management with extensive experience in estate and trust planning, adult guardianship, capacity planning, and estate and trust administration. She helps clients develop individualized estate plans that incorporate tax, succession, and family considerations, and advises on wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, alter ego, joint spousal and family trusts, the complexities of planning for a blended family, and business succession. A significant part of her practice involves guiding executors, trustees, and beneficiaries through estate and trust administration, including obtaining or resealing grants, administering assets, resolving trustee–beneficiary disputes, replacing trustees, and passing accounts both informally and through the Court. Michelle also has specialized expertise in complex matters such as multi jurisdictional estates, Indigenous estates under the Indian Act, administering insolvent estates, and advising trustees where the deceased has been murdered by a beneficiary.
