Myriam Brixi practises in civil and commercial litigation, primarily in the areas of class actions, product liability, and insurance law. She has participated in complex cases raising important legal issues, including a wide range of multi-jurisdictional class actions. The experience she has gained in these major cases has enabled her to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the procedural and strategic aspects of class actions in Canada. She also contributes to this field through publications and lectures. She is the Vice-President of the Executive Committee of the CBA (Québec) Class Actions Section and is a member of the Class Actions Committee of the International Association of Defence Counsel. Myriam is committed to access to justice. She has been appointed by the Québec Bar to sit on its Committee on Access to Justice and she is the Co-Chair of the Citizenship and Charters Committee of the CBA (Québec).
