Myron Dzulynsky is a partner at Gowling WLG and is former co-Head of the Toronto Business Law Department, as well as the former Head of the national Investment Funds and Private Equity Group. A member of the executive of the Energy, Infrastructure, and Mining Group, Myron is a transaction lawyer with broad sectoral experience, with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure projects, M&A, and financing. He has a wealth of experience with respect to investment, financing, and M&A transactions in electricity generation and transmission assets, as well as a broad range of social and transportation infrastructure assets in Canada and other parts of the world. Myron is also known for his experience in private investment fund formation for both sponsors and investors, as well as for acting for investment funds in downstream transactions. He has been recognized in The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory since 2012.
On December 3, 2015, Bruce Power L.P. (Bruce Power) and the Independent Electricity System Operator (the IESO) entered into the Amended and Restated Bruce Power Refurbishment Implementation Agreement (the ARBPRIA) to extend the operating life of the Bruce Power facility to 2064.
Tourmaline Oil Corp. completed the previously announced Peace River High sale to and joint venture with Canadian Non-Operated Resources I Ltd. (CNOR) for approximately $500 million. Tourmaline retains a 75 per cent interest and will continue to operate the joint venture assets.
