Joan is a partner at Cambridge LLP, a law firm in Toronto, Ontario. She practises in the business litigation, cross-border litigation, and constitutional advocacy groups at Cambridge LLP. She is on the Annual Conference Committee for the CCIL and is involved in planning the organization’s largest annual event. In 2020 she also received the African Scholar Award from the University of Toronto, African Alumni Association. Joan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Political Science (minor in French) from the University of Toronto. Joan obtained a JD from the U of Toronto Faculty of Law and thereafter an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School.
