Nicole specializes in charity and not-for-profit law. She advises on governance, tax, regulatory and compliance issues, operational and financial matters, domestic and international activities, social finance, charitable gifts and receipting, fundraising, endowments, investments, donor-advised funds, audits, restructurings, advocacy, anti-spam, and privacy. Nicole works with clients across Canada in French and English. Nicole sits on CRA’s Technical Issues Working Group, which advises on issues related to the regulation of registered charities and other qualified donees in Canada. She is a member of the  Charity and Not-for-Profit Law Executives of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association, and is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners’ Government Relations Committee. Nicole completed CPA Canada's three-year In-Depth Tax Course. She is the former co-editor of Canadian Tax Focus, a Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF) publication, has written for the Canadian Tax Journal, and spoken at the CTF annual conference. Nicole co-chaired the Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s Young Leadership Council for many years. Juris Doctor, University of Ottawa (2011); M.A. (2008) and BA (2007), Western University.
