Pavan Jawanda is a partner in McCarthy Tétrault’s Business Law Group and is also the Co-Head of its National Tech M&A Group and Co-Lead of U.S. West Coast Markets. His practice is primarily focused on advising public and private companies and private equity firms on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, capital markets, corporate finance, venture capital and other corporate and commercial transactions. Prior to joining McCarthy, Pavan was a lawyer with one of New York’s leading international law firms, where he was based in its New York office and then in its Hong Kong office. Pavan is also a Certified Public Accountant. Pavan has advised on corporate transactions originating in over 25 countries, with a particular focus on Canada, the U.S., China, India and other parts of Asia.
