Peter is a partner at Harris. With Peter’s labour and employment law practice, he provides advice and representation to employers on human rights matters, collective agreement interpretation, discipline and collective bargaining strategy. Peter has also negotiated collective agreements on behalf of many clients. He advises and represents clients in a number of industries, including health care, food, broadcasting and education, including boards of education and post-secondary institutions. Peter is recognized as a leading lawyer by The Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of labour and employment law; Martindale-Hubbell BV Distinguished; and Law Business Research's International Who’s Who of Management Labour & Employment Lawyers. He is the author of papers on various topics and has written extensively on attendance management and honesty issues. Peter is a member of the Labour Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association.
