Peter Askew

Peter’s primary area of expertise is estate litigation. His clients value his ability to demystify the litigation process and pursue their interests tenaciously and effectively. Peter’s practice includes will challenges, power of attorney disputes, guardianship applications, dependant support claims, executor removal applications, contested applications to pass accounts, and other estate and trust litigation matters. Peter was formerly an associate and partner at a boutique law firm, where his practice focused on contentious estate and commercial disputes. He has experience representing clients at all stages of litigation, from the commencement of proceedings to mediation, trial, and appeal. Peter is an active member of various legal associations, including the Canadian Bar Association, The Advocates' Society, and the Toronto Lawyers Association and holds a TEP designation from the Society of Estate and Trust Professionals.
