Mr. Karrass’s practice focuses on litigation and alternative dispute resolution. He has appeared on numerous criminal defence, civil, administrative and regulatory matters at both the trial and appellate levels. From 2015 to 2020 Mr. Karrass served as a presiding lawyer member of Ontario’s Consent & Capacity Board – Ministry of Health. He was a member of the teaching team at Osgoode Hall law School’s Lawyer as Negotiator and has taught Criminal Law, Advocacy and dispute resolution in the paralegal program at George Brown College.  Mr. Karrass received his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was the recipient of the Kenneth Gibson Morden Memorial Prize for standing highest in the subject of Evidence. A former Criminal Law columnist at The Lawyer’s Daily, Robert is frequently sought by national and local media to provide expert legal commentary. Called to the Ontario bar, 2014.
