National leader of the Transportation Group, acting for and advising the industry across the country, along with the leading autonomous vehicles practice, Robin assists shipping, road, and aviation clients with litigation; insurance; licensing; approvals; safety and compliance advice; enforcement, including quasi-criminal and administrative tribunal work, acquisitions; regulatory approvals; commercial agreements; autonomous vehicles and technology; and advice on decarbonization and credit mechanisms under Canada’s Clean Fuel Standard. Robin deals with waybills; bills of lading and contracts of carriage; distribution and warehousing disputes, including liens on inventory and general security; recovery of property and debt disputes; corporate and business law issues; as well as the transportation of dangerous goods. Robin advises ship-owners, operators, charterers, marine terminal operators, P&I and defence clubs, trucking and logistics companies, air carriers, airframe and engine manufacturers, FBOs MROs, airports and insurers for all of these both in Canada and abroad.
