Robin Squires joined Barnable Law after two decades at one of Canada's largest law firms, where he was the regional head of their Shipping Group and national head of their Transportation Group. Squires has extensive experience representing ship owners and P&I Clubs on casualties, regulatory matters, and in actions involving domestic and international shipping; aviation insurers in GA casualty claims; road and rail operators in litigation and regulatory matters, and OEMs in the defence of class actions and product liability claims. Squires has experience in complex casualty matters and class actions involving multiple parties and inter-jurisdictional and cross-border insurance issues. In addition to his court experience, he advises clients on corporate matters and liability and risk management issues including drafting of service agreements, contracts, liability releases, indemnity agreements, and labour and employment matters.
