Scott Beattie is a partner in Gowling WLG's Hamilton office, where he conducts a broad commercial litigation practice and acts as the leader of that office's advocacy department. He routinely represents an array of private and institutional clients with a particular focus on professional negligence and commercial disputes such as breaches of contract, shareholder disputes, and debtor/creditor actions. He is preferred counsel for LawPRO, for which he has acted in the defense of legal malpractice claims for over 15 years. His clients benefit from his keen ability to quickly identify problems and solve them with honest advice and actionable solutions.
