Sharon is a founding partner of Reconstruct LLP. Prior to launching Reconstruct LLP, Sharon spent close to a decade practising litigation and restructuring at McCarthy Tétrault. Sharon’s expertise is in insolvency, restructuring and commercial litigation. She frequently acts as counsel to debtors and various stakeholders in insolvency and restructuring proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, and the Ontario Business Corporations Act. Called to the bar in both Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador, Sharon acts for debtors, creditors, board, and court officers across Canada. Sharon's peers respect her ability to build consensus in complicated situations. She provides the tactical advice required to advance mandates toward resolution. She is a past Chair of the Insolvency Section of the Ontario Bar Association, a frequent speaker, and is consistently recognized as a leader in her field by Chambers and Partners, Lexpert, Benchmark and Best Lawyers.
