Stephanie DiGiuseppe is a partner and Co-Chair of the Criminal Litigation Practice Group at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP. She practises criminal, constitutional and regulatory litigation, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex problems. Stephanie has represented clients before all levels of court in Ontario, administrative tribunals, professional regulatory bodies and the Supreme Court of Canada. Stephanie is an active leader in Canada’s legal community and a dedicated advocate for social justice and legal systems change. She acts as counsel with the Pro Bono Inmate Assistance Program at the Ontario Court of Appeal. Stephanie is also committed to mentorship and is an instructor at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she teaches criminal law and also teaches trial and appellate advocacy skills to practitioners. She is the co-editor of the Constitutional Rights Reporter. Stephanie is a member of The Advocates’ Society, Toronto Lawyers Association and Criminal Lawyers’ Association (CLA). She is the Co-Chair of the CLA Litigation Committee and the Assistant Treasurer. Stephanie is also a Co-Chair of the board of directors for Peacebuilders International, which provides restorative justice solutions for adolescents in conflict with the law.
