Stephanie Pearce is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office working in civil and administrative litigation. Her primary focus is on health law and related regulatory matters. Stephanie has extensive experience representing health professionals in complex proceedings, including coroner’s inquests, disciplinary hearings before the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, hospital proceedings, and other administrative tribunals. In addition to her health law practice, Stephanie works in the area of public procurement and litigates bid disputes, judicial reviews of government and tribunal decisions, statutory appeals of federal agency rulings, and disputes involving tort and contract claims. She also advises both purchasers and suppliers on public procurement processes. Stephanie has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as numerous administrative tribunals such as the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Canada Transportation Agency, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She has been recognized in both The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada.
