Stephen’s experience includes local, national and international prospectus offerings, TSX and TSX Venture Exchange, and Stock Exchanges of Hong Kong-based listings, as well as Chinese outbound M&A transactions into Canada. He divides his time between McMillan LLP’s offices in Vancouver and Hong Kong.  Stephen is highly regarded for his experience advising state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) alike. Stephen is also highly regarded (in Canada and abroad) for his expertise on the topic of Hong Kong Stock Exchange listings by Canadian companies, dual listings (Canada-Hong Kong), as well as alternative investment structures for both inbound transactions into Canada (for Chinese clients) and outbound transactions into Mainland China (for Canadian clients). Stephen currently serves on the Board of the Canada China Business Council (CCBC).
