Susan Abramovitch, a bilingual Toronto-based Gowling WLG partner, is among the world’s leading entertainment and sports lawyers. Head of the Entertainment & Sports Law Group, her practice spans music, film, television, theatre, fine arts, multimedia, videogaming, sports, esports, AI and publishing. Licensed in Ontario, Québec and New York, Susan advises domestic and international clients on entertainment and sports law-related matters, drafts and negotiates agreements, advises on deal terms, structures and dispute resolution, counsels on international industry standards and manages rights acquisitions. Program Director for Osgoode Hall Law School’s Continuing Legal Education Certificate in Entertainment Law and lectures at the University of Toronto’s law and music faculties and at Western Law. She is an Honorary Governor of The Corporation of Massey Hall/Roy Thomson Hall.
