Partner in a business law group at Goodmans. Practice is transaction based and she acts for both public and private companies, with a particular emphasis on public and private mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate finance transactions, private equity, continuous disclosure obligations, corporate governance and general corporate and securities law. Recent experience includes representing: BSR REIT on its US$1 billion asset sale and recapitalization transaction with Avalon Bay Communities, Inc.; Kilmer Sports Ventures in its acquisition of the Toronto Tempo expansion franchise of the WNBA; Tricon Residential Inc. in its US$3.5 billion privatization by Blackstone Real Estate; and Larry Tanenbaum on the sale of a 20% stake in his company, Kilmer Sports Inc., to OMERS Pension Plan for US$400 million representing an indirect 5% interest in MLSE.
