Teri Liu is a Partner at Dutton Brock LLP and was called to the Ontario bar in 2011. Her practice focuses on the defence of a broad range of claims, including occupiers’ liability, product liability, institutional sexual assault claims, medical negligence, professional negligence, motor vehicle accidents, and municipal liability. She currently serves as a Director on the Board of the Canadian Defence Lawyers (CDL), Vice-Chair of the CDL Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Communications Officer of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Insurance Law Executive, an Executive of the Tort Law Moot Committee, and a member of the TLA Membership Committee. She has previously served as Chair of the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) Insurance Law Section Executive and Chair of The Advocates’ Society Personal Injury & Insurance Practice Group. She is dedicated to mentoring and educating young lawyers both within her firm and throughout the legal community. She serves as a Mentor and Assessor for the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Law Practice Program and as a Mentor for the TMU Lincoln Alexander School of Law Civil Procedure Practicum.
