Tim is an engineer and patent agent. His practice primarily focuses on all aspects of drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications in energy-related industries. Tim develops and assists with IP strategic planning and programs, IP litigation support and preparation of patentability, patent infringement, patent validity and patent clearance assessments. He also provides advice and assistance on patent applications related to mechanical equipment and medical devices. Tim is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, as well as a Fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada.
