Véronique Roy is a partner in the Litigation Group in Montréal. Her practice focuses on civil, administrative and disciplinary litigation, mostly on professional and medical liability. Véronique joined the firm as a partner in 2024. Previously, she practised litigation within a national firm and a major regional firm. As a litigator, Véronique is recognised for her ability to manage complex cases. She has extensive experience in public and constitutional law litigation. Her clients appreciate her diligence and good judgment. Véronique is the author of several articles and has participated in a number of conferences. She is passionate about research and is a member of the board of directors of the Canadian Foundation for Legal Research. After completing her law studies (B.C.L., LL.B.) with Great Distinction at McGill University in 2006, Véronique clerked for the Honourable Louis LeBel at the Supreme Court of Canada (2007-2008). She also holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from UQAM (2000) and a master’s degree in political science from McGill University (2003). Véronique was called to the Quebec Bar in 2008. She is a member of the Advocates’ Society, and has been named in the Benchmark Litigation rankings since 2019.
