Warren Foley is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Calgary office. His litigation practice focuses on disputes arising from large-scale construction projects in the infrastructure, industrial and commercial sectors. Acting for owners, designers, contractors, subcontractors and insurers, Warren’s work encompasses all matters of arbitration and litigation, advising on infrastructure disputes, public-private partnership contracts, large property and construction claims. His extensive practice entails: disputes involving critical path delay and productivity loss; cost overrun claims; negligent/faulty design and workmanship claims and contract interpretation disputes. Warren is very familiar with all aspects of dispute resolution, including judicial dispute resolution conferences, private mediations and arbitrations. A board member of the ADR Institute of Canada, he has significant experience conducting complex arbitrations under a variety of procedural rules. Warren has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta including the Court of Appeal. He has been recognized in the Legal 500 Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada.
