Yuri Chumak

Yuri Chumak is a lawyer, Patent Agent, and Trademark Agent who has practised exclusively in intellectual property law since 2006. He advises on all aspects of IP clearance, prosecution, and enforcement, including patents, industrial designs, trademarks, and copyrights. His practice also includes complex trial and appellate advocacy, technology licensing, IP agreements, privacy matters, and trade secrets. Yuri prepares and prosecutes IP applications across a wide range of technical fields and conducts IP due diligence in support of technology and financing transactions. Yuri is active in domain name, advertising, and marketing matters, and serves as an arbitrator for dot ca domain name disputes with Resolution Canada. He is a Fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the International Trademark Association.
