Father-daughter team form MacKenzie Barristers in Toronto

Gavin MacKenzie and his daughter Brooke MacKenzie have formed a litigation boutique, MacKenzie Barristers, where they concentrate on appeals and professional-liability cases. Gavin MacKenzie, who was most recently a partner of DLA Piper, is well-known for his work in legal malpractice matters. He has acted in more than 200 reported cases and has appeared before all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada and many tribunals. Brooke MacKenzie was most recently a litigation associate with McCarthy Tétrault LLP. She is completing an LLM at the University of Toronto.
