On June 26, 2018, Fonds de solidarité FTQ, a Québec development capital fund, invested $70 million in EBI, a leading green energy producer in Québec and Canada, to support the economic growth in this company strategically positioned in sectors such as waste management, renewable energy production and the use and distribution of natural gas in the Québec transportation industry.
EBI was represented by Lavery, de Billy, LLP with a team led by André Paquette (corporate) and Jacques Paul-Hus (corporate), and including Nadia Hanine (corporate), Éric Gélinas (tax), Pierre Denis (financing) and Audrey-Julie Dallaire (environment).
