Salesforce acquires Mobify

On Sept. 4, Salesforce announced its acquisition of Mobify. The acquisition closed by plan of arrangement on Oct. 1. The acquisition provides Salesforce Commerce Cloud with Mobify’s modern storefront solution that enables brands to customize their commerce experiences to deliver an enhanced experience across any channel.

Mobify is a Vancouver based technology startup with a focus on modern web storefronts for headless commerce. Mobify focuses on empowering retailers to innovate their digital customer experience by offloading operational risk. Its customers include Under Armor, Lancôme, Debenhams, Cosnova, Mackage, Syo & Kioa, Shiseido and Space NK.

Salesforce.com is a cloud based software company focusing on customer relationship management with an emphasis on integrating marketing, sales, commerce and service into one platform.
