$6B Debt Shelf Programme Established in U.S.

BP Canada Finance Company, BP Capital Markets America Inc., BP Capital Markets p.l.c. and BP Australia Capital Markets Limited established a $6 billion guaranteed debt shelf programme in the U.S. pursuant to a form F-3 registration statement effective February 28, 2002. The debt is guaranteed by BP p.l.c.
