Constellation Software Acquires Gary Jonas Computing

Toronto-based Constellation Software Inc. acquired all the shares of Richmond Hill, Ontario-based Gary Jonas Computing Ltd. The deal closed on June 2, 2003 and its value is undisclosed. Constellation acquires and builds high market share, mission-critical vertical market software companies in growing markets. Gary Jonas Computing is a provider of integrated software systems for club, hotel, construction and service billing industries.

Constellation Software was represented by McCarthy Tétrault LLP, with a team that included George Takach and David Ma (technology M&A), Danielle Bush (trade-marks) Jerald Wortsman (tax), John Brown (employment) and Victoria Winter (estates and trusts).
