Deans Knight Launches Energy Fund

Vancouver-based Deans Knight Capital Management Ltd. completed an offering of units in the DK Energy Fund Limited Partnership on September 30, 2003. The private equity fund raised more than $20 million and proceeds will be invested in early stage oil and gas companies. The fund was represented by Stikeman Elliott LLP, with a team that included Ralph Lutes and Thomas Wachowski in Vancouver and David Weekes in Calgary.
