Macleod Dixon's Caracas Office on a Roll

Despacho de Abogados miembros de Macleod Dixon, S. C., the Caracas, Venezuela office of Calgary-based Macleod Dixon has recently completed two major transactions. The first involved representation of Oklahoma-based Williams Company in its award of the PIGAP II Gas Injection Project. This project, which involves a U. S. $450 million investment in the construction and operation of the largest gas reinjection plant in the world, was outsourced by PDVSA, the Venezuelan state oil company. The second transaction involves the Caracas office representing the Enbridge/Williams/Northville consortium in its successful bid to acquire and operate the Jose Terminal, which is similarly being outsourced by PDVSA. This latter transaction involves the purchase of the existing facility for U. S. $385 million and is set to close in late 1999.
